World Championships & International Events

The International Hansa Class Association is authorized by ISAF to conduct one World Championship each year in each of its classes (currently the Hansa 2.3, Hansa 303 and Liberty).  The IHCA aims to hold a combined World Championship every two years, including SKUD 18 International Championships where practicable. 


Regional Championships for Europe, North America & Asia-Pacific are conducted in the intervening years.  With the authority of the IHCA, International Championships can also be conducted independently or as part of a Hansa Class National Championships.


A process has been established to seek expressions of interest from host clubs wishing to conduct Hansa Class World, Regional & International Championships.  See the Race Management Guide available below.
