The logo of the Italian Championship Class Access has just been released.
The symbol was unveiled by the Circolo Vela Gargnano in collaboration with Brescia Tourism, Unique Garda, Lombardy Region and the Province of Brescia on the occasion of an exhibition dedicated to tourism, leisure and sports.
It's the third time that the Access fleets will sail at Gargnano. In 2011 the European Championship attracted sailors from 11 countries. Last year was the inaugural Italian Championship.
This year, from 24 to 26 May, more than 20 teams representing the Italian national fleet will be joined by entries from Australia, France and Switzerland.
The event will be co-organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, Garda Rowing Club and the Project Hyak.
Access the Championship will be part of a week dedicated to eco-environmental compatibility and accessibility which will start at Lake Iseo.
During the week there will be seminars on Paralympic sailing, the relationship between media and disability, and a number of other projects.
